Project overview

Quack Quack is a delivery service based in Yangon, Myanmar, offering parcel, food, and liquor delivery. I designed both the beta and final versions of the app, improving usability and updating the color theme for a more vibrant and modern look.

My role

I contributed to both design phases by:

Designing user flows for delivery, tracking, and payments
Refining layouts and improving clarity across screens
Updating the color scheme and typography in the final version
Ensuring UI consistency

Challenges & goals

Challenge

  • Maintaining familiarity:Updating the theme while keeping users comfortable.
  • Clarity:Improving navigation and readability across different delivery types.
  • Team alignment:Coordinating visual updates between design and development.

Goal

  • Improve usability:Simplify steps for ordering and payments.
  • Refresh visuals:Replace the violet color theme with a brighter, friendlier palette.
  • Enhance scalability:Ensure design components could easily support new features.

Process and outcome

The design flow for both versions was largely the same. I reviewed each screen and refined details such as spacing, typography, and iconography to make the interface more consistent.

For the final release, the color identity of the product is changed to Pink palette from Violet palette and I also refined small interface details to make the design feel more cohesive and modern.

There was no need for extensive developer documentation since the overall structure remained unchanged, and most updates were purely visual.

The new visual identity gave Quack Quack a clear and fresh personality. The pink theme made the app stand out while keeping it easy to use for existing users who were already familiar with the original flow.

Reflection

This project showed me how much visual evolution can impact perception without changing core functionality. It reinforced the importance of balance and improving aesthetics without touching the overall features of the app.
